LOUISIANA (KTAL/KMSS) — With a majority of voting precincts reporting, Representative Sam Jenkins is the apparent winner of the District 39 Senate race.

While speaking with reporters, Jenkins alluded to receiving a message from candidate Glover that appeared to be a congratulatory message conceding the race.
