Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a former deputy for the second time this year.

Bradley Smith was arrested Friday, September 15, 2017 at 390 Richardson Road in Calhoun, La.

According to the arrest report, deputies spoke with Smith who said he and the victim were involved in a verbal disturbance and she would not return his keys.

Deputies asked the victim what happened and she stated she and the arrestee were arguing when she walked into the bathroom.

The victim then said Smith was behind her and shoved her head into the wall 2 to 3 times.

Deputies noticed the area near the corner of her right eye and her right eye and her right cheek to be slightly swollen and red.

Deputies then spoke with Smith again; who stated the two only argued and denied ever being inside the residence with the victim.

Smith was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center. He has since been bonded out.

Smith was terminated from Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office following his prior arrest in an alleged rape case back in May.
