Three people and their pets escape unharmed following an early morning house fire in Shreveport.
The blaze broke out shortly after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Woodrow St.
When crews arrived heavy smoke was coming from the one-story wood frame home.
It took over 20 firefighters to put out the blaze.
The three people inside the home at the time of the fire and their pets were able to escape with no injuries.
The local Red Cross is providing temporary assistance for the three displaced adults.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
