Todd Warren has been Chief Meteorologist at KTAL since 2001. He has been forecasting weather for over 31 years and ArkLaTex weather for 23 years. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Todd began his weather career in Columbia, MO working as a meteorologist at KOMU-TV. In addition to weather, Todd served as the first-ever host of the Missouri Lottery’s nightly Pick 3 drawing. Before signing on as Chief Meteorologist at KTAL, Todd spent six years in Cincinnati, where he was the morning meteorologist at the NBC affiliate.
Over the years, the ArkLaTex area has really become home. Todd first moved to Shreveport in 1987. During the 8 years that he worked at KTBS-TV, he and his wife met and started their family. They now have four children including a set of twins. All four are currently graduates or students of Louisiana Tech University.
Todd earned his American Meteorology Society seal of approval in 1988. He enjoys school visits and sharing his love for weather with students. His hobbies include playing an occasional round of golf and stock market investing.
