Morning meteorologist Josh Marcisz joined NBC 6 in December 2010 as weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter. The Arizona native holds a degree in Geography/Meteorology from Arizona State University where he is a member of the school’s Weather Forecasting Hall of Fame.
Before arriving in the ArkLaTex, Josh spent his time forecasting mountain weather patterns as a meteorologist and producer at KUTV in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since arriving in Shreveport he has covered tornado outbreaks, Hurricane Isaac, drought, and wildfires.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys hiking, hockey, tennis, racquetball, listening to British Rock and Roll music, and watching college football.
