Jezzamine has lived all over the county, from Hawaii to New York City, and has worked for multiple national news outlets before coming to KTAL NBC 6, including Fox News and NBC News.
While studying communications in college, she was one of ten hand-selected student leaders from across the nation sent to Israel on scholarship. The group toured the country for about a month, learning about its history and its people. Her time abroad opened her eyes to her generation’s apathy toward important world issues and sparked her passion for news.
When she returned from her trip, she dedicated her life to informing herself and others and landed an internship at the iconic 30 Rockefeller Plaza working for NBC News, which then hired her right of college as a producer. But she was soon poached by Fox News right across the street, where she was a primetime booking producer for ‘The Story with Martha MacCallum,’ and then later a field producer for ‘Fox & Friends.’
Eventually, she found herself in front of the camera doing national media in Washington D.C. and California. Her latest job was as a primetime host, interviewing members of congress and other newsmakers. Now, she’s excited to start her next chapter in the ArkLaTex as the new morning co-anchor for NBC 6 News Today from 5-7 am and FOX 33 Good Day from 7-8 am.
