Emily Greer moved to Ruston, LA from Boston, MA in 2022. She is originally from Ruston and is back in the area after nearly a decade. Emily earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Mississippi College.
While at Mississippi College, Emily worked as the Editor-in-Chief of the university newspaper, The Collegian. Before returning to Louisiana, Emily worked with children and youth at a mental healthcare crisis center.
After her time in the healthcare field, she decided to get back to the thing she loved most, writing. She is excited to be part of the KTAL NBC 6/ FOX 33 / KSHV 45 Digital team and looks forward to hearing your story ideas!
