Christa Swanson moved to the Shreveport-Bossier area in 2020 when her husband was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base. She attended Baylor University and is originally from Texas. She also is certified in Digital Media Marketing through Cornell University. Christa is new to KTAL NBC and joined us as a Digital Content Producer in August of 2021.
Working for the Marine Corps Community Services while in Okinawa, Japan she was recognized as one of the top 10 web administrators in MCCS and broke records in local community engagement two years in a row. She specializes in social media marketing and project management and was awarded the It Factor Award from the Army and Air Force Exchange Services in 2019 for more than doubling the income of Petals and Blooms after she and another military spouse took over the previous year.
