Brittany Defran was born and raised in Florida. Coming from a large Hispanic family, her parents taught her to be proud of her Dominican culture.
With a theatre background, growing up it was her passion to entertain others. While attending Florida State University she earned her Bachelor’s degree and built the foundation of her skills through the Digital Production program.
She joins the KTAL team from Bryan-College Station where she reported as a Multimedia Journalist for two years. She is looking forward to connecting with the community and sharing stories that can make an impact.
Brittany will launch KTAL NBC 6 streaming platform in the near future, so be on the lookout for her! She is excited to be part of this growing team and looks forward to hearing your story ideas.
